the meaning of selfish

For once, i truly understand what is the meaning of selfish.
i also know why they say nan ren bu huai nu ren bu ai.
For a very long time, i asked what it means to be bad?
U mean i should ill treat my gf so that she would love me even more....
Nah, thats not the answer
but somehow the answer is near to that but i realised it only now.
If you put yr gf on 1st priority and always give in, u would be taken for granted.
But the real issue is not that you would be taken for granted cause thats not a very big issue to me...i could really stretch myself. I breaks
The worst issue is that all along, has she noticed you. Was i ever in 1st priority?
or even 2nd priority? or even the 3rd priority. I wouldnt know.
And the worst worst issue is that you no longer gets the chance to put her in priority.
maybe its my 1st relationship, still newbie u know
but i thought the more i give, the more i love, it doesnt matter if i dun take in anything
i finally realise taking in is very important
so she finally gets sick of the giving in, and she needs new life around her, everyone except the guy that sticks around her for the past years
so this guy is given the mission to find new friends.....
what about my old friends?
i really wonder how yr old friends would react if the scenario is always like this.
